TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
