The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
